To update H&R Block software, just follow these easy steps:

Select your state from the dropdown list; then click Download update. If you don’t see your state in the drop-down menu, then an update hasn’t been released yet. Please check back at a later date.
When prompted to save the update file to disk, save it to your desktop. The file will be named HRBlock_2022_North_Carolina_Updater_A.exe or something similar, depending on which version of the software you’re updating.
If your H&R Block software is open, close it now.
Double-click the update file on your desktop.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Program rules: Limit of 5 paid referrals per Experienced Tax Pros and First Year Tax Pros and 4 paid referrals for Receptionists. All referrals must be submitted between 4/1/2023 – 3/31/2024 using hrblock.com/offers/tax-pro-referral.
